There is nothing quite as comforting as a well cooked pot roast with potatoes, carrots and onions. You'll find that cooking a roast beef dinner in the Nutra Ease electric skillet is simple and give you maximum flavor!
- 3-4lb Chuck Roast -
- 6-8 Medium Potatoes -
- 6-8 Medium Carrots -
- 1 Medium Onion -
- 2 Cups Beef Stock -
- Seasoning Salt -
- Garlic Powder -
- Pre-Heat electric skillet to 375. Season roast with seasoning salt & garlic powder.
- Sear roast on both sides for 8-10 Minutes (no need for oil of any kind).
- Set roast out of pan, line bottom of skillet with sliced onions then put roast back in skillet. Add beef stock, carrots, potatoes. Put cover on, wait for valve to click steady then lower to 200 degrees.
- Cook at 200 degrees for 1-2 hours. The longer you cook the roast the better the flavor and tenderness.
